Flowers lovingly nurtured all summer to be a riot of color on this appointed day....
Once full of black diamonds, now brimmed with jewels of the fall...
Welcome to Bevier, and to the wonderful Sesquicentnnial Festival, Saturday, October 4, 2008
What a day... If a person could special order the weather to cooperate full one hundred percent, this would be that day. Sunny, mellow... just a bit of truly warm and nippy cool to satisfy everyone. This happy fellow welcomed the crowd to the wonderful Black Diamond Building, which housed the hospitality room and museum.

Can't say enough about all the many hours of work that all of you put in to make this a great day for the town of Bevier. I know I'm proud to say, " I was born and raised in this town"! Oh so many great memories to have to pass on to my Grandkids and their kids, but of course they can never have the special memories I have, they have their own memories that were in their day!!
Thanks again for the wonderful day.
