A '78 Luau

Apologies to all vegetarians -- I just had to add a shot of that terrific roasted pig! The 78'ers continued their float theme into a huge tent for a wonderful Luau reunion, which they shared with the old folks from '77. Great fun! ~cg

Funny how it doesn't seem to take many years to make class photos seem really...well, ummm...dated? Check out Class of '78 in all their bell-bottomed glory, inside Macon's old Sanatorium building, before the remodel. Next is a group photo of da boyz -- Tom, Bobby, Danny, Mike, Russell, Randy, Robert, Mike, Ricky and Donald. Look Who's Having a 30-Year Reunion!

The Class of '78 has a TERRIFIC reunion planned! They're having a pig roast on Homecoming Saturday...and have graciously invited the older 77'ers to join them! (THANKS!) It's going to be fun! Be sure to look for this class's float in the homecoming parade! ~cg

60 Years Ago...Happy Reunion Year, Class of 1948!

Here's a salute to the class of 1948! You may need to double-check the photos to see the names properly. Aren't they a sassy-looking bunch? This was pre-Wildcat days, folks...the basketball team was the Eagles, and they played their home games outside. Mr. John R. Amedei was the history teacher and coach...that's him in the bottom photo with the girl's team...I know Zelma Joyce Herrin is in there somewhere... ~cg

I'm pretty sure I recognize Tina Waite and Beth Peukert Hall in the top pic...helping their sons up the hill. Next are the reunion floats for the classes of '64 and '74, followed by the 1994 royalty...Little Mr. and Miss Bevier--Tristin Wilson and Justin Gladbach, and Homecoming Queen Greta Cross, driven by Rick and Justin Cannan. Bevier Homecoming Parade - Alumni Float

Dorothy "Dot" Stuart was one wonderful lady and is still sadly missed by many. Here she is riding the alumni float in the Bevier Homecoming parade. I think the year was 1975, but feel free to correct me. She is wearing a dress in the style that SHE wore to high school! - CG

I know that Charlotte (Cress) Cross was a member of this class, but I'm not sure who else. This was their parade entry in 1983, for their 40th reunion. CG
