Shoemaker RV Center was a wonderful asset to our community for many years. I was very sad to hear of Chet Shoemaker's passing last October. I remember how proud and excited he was when the business was all under construction! He hired this group of girls to help paint the building's interior and detail the trade-in units. We were making money for our senior trip and Chet certainly was wonderful to us. That's Chet above, and a few of the members of the class of 1977 -- Mary Douglas, Genia Smith, Brenda Harrington, me, and Beth Peukert.
